Overview RLC was incorporated on June 4, 1980 as the real estate investment arm of JG Summit Holdings Inc. (JGS). It is engaged in the development and operation of shopping malls and hotels, and the development of mixed-use properties, office and residential buildings, as well as land and residential housing developments. Commercial Center Division develops, leases and manages shopping malls throughout the Philippines. As of September 30, 2016, RLC operated 44 shopping malls. The Commercial Centers Division’s main revenue stream is derived from the lease of commercial spaces. It accounts for around 45% of RLC’s total revenue. Residential Division develops and sells residential developments for sale/pre-sale. It accounts for around 34% of the total revenue. It has four (4) different brand based on the target markets namely Luxuria, Residences, Communities, Homes. Office Buildings Division develops office buildings for lease. It accounts for around 13% of the revenue. Major customers are BPO companies. Hotels Division owns and operates hotels in Metro Manila and other urban areas throughout the Philippines.  Some brands are Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn both managed by the InterContinental Hotels Group, ummit Circle Cebu, Summit Ridge Tagaytay and Summit Hotel Magnolia which are under the Summit brand, and a network of ten (10) Go Hotels all over the Philippines. It accounts for around 8% of the revenue. Subsidiaries / Associates / Affiliates / Joint Ventures Robinson's Inn, Inc. is part of the Company’s hotels division, and runs the Robinsons Apartelle. Robinsons (Cayman) Limited acts as a real estate agent on the international market, among others, for the Residential Division. Lingkod Pinoy Bus Liner, Inc .is engaged in land transportation for the transportation and carriage of passengers, goods, and merchandise within any place in the Philippines. Altus Angeles, Inc. establishes, manages and maintains commercial complexes, offer such services and merchandise of all kinds.
