Overview
holds the exclusive right to provide water and used
water services to the eastern side (“East Zone”) of the franchise area of the
Metro Manila. It provides water services to more than 6 millions of customers
residing Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Peteros, San Juan, Taguig, Marikina,
most part of Quezon City, portions of Manila and some Rizal provinces. The
Company substantially relies on surface waters coming from the Angat River
System. To promote inclusive growth, around 40% contractors of the supply
chain are from small-medium scale enterprise.
Business
It recorded Php17711 millions of revenue and P6065
millions of net income in 2016.
The Group derived 77% of its operating revenues from
the sale of water, while 16% came from environmental and sewer charges. Other
revenues, which accounted for the balance of 7%, were from connection fees,
after-the-meter services and septic sludge disposal, among others.
