 The group is engaged in battery manufacturing, lead processing, tire retreading, real estate development and fast food operation business. Its manufacturing arm, Philippine Batteries Inc., is the biggest manufacturer of batteries in the Philippines (Oriental, Super Power, and Motolite brands). It also owns more than 220 KFC fast-food restaurants, Tokyo Tokyo resto chain and Mister Donut.

Profood International Corp.
Humble, self-made entrepreneur Justin Uy of Cebu is the “Mango King” of the Philippines. Established in 1980, his firm Profood exported 8,000 tons of dried mangoes last year. He now manufactures products from 15 tropical fruits. He is also part owner of the Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort & Spa.
Asialink Finance Corp.
Established in 1997 and led by young entrepreneur Ruben Y. Lugtu, Asialink has grown to become a leading consumer finance business with 93 branches nationwide.
Fern C  
Led by young entrepreneur Tommanny Tan, this vitamin C marketing firm started out in 2003 with only six employees, a single product and a small room. It is now a billion-peso business. 
LICA Group
It started in 1997 by the Limcaoco family, which also owns Calabarzon-focused Luzon Development Bank, the Philippines’ leading auto service repair chain Rapide has 50 shops nationwide. LICA Group also owns Somerset Olympia in Makati.

Philippine Communications Satellite Corporation (PHILCOMSAT)
It’s a wholly owned subsidiary of PHILIPPINE OVERSEAS TELECOMMUNICATIONS COPRORATION (POTC, 35% owned by the Republic of the Philippines). It owns 80% of Philcomsat Holdings Corporation (PHC, a listed company) and 68% of Montemar Beach Club, Inc (MBCI). PHC, an investment holding arm chaired by Katrina C. Ponce-Enrile, owns Philcomsat Management Enterprises Inc and Professional Stock Transfer Inc. It has a congressional franchise for telecommunication and license for VSAT, VAS, IGF, LEC, ISC and VOIP. Its earth station facilities for the satellite operation are located in Pinugay Rizal. Satelite operation includes International & Domestic Lease Circuit, Aeronautical communications, Maritime Communications, Broadcast TV, Internet and Disaster Management Solutions.
Vega Teleccom Inc.
It was SMC’s telco business arm but sold to GLO, TEL at around 69.1 billion pesos since SMC gave up telco business in 2016. It’s subsidiaries include Bell Telecommunications Philippines, Inc., Easterrn Telecommunications Philippines, Inc., Liberty Telecommunications Holdings, Inc. Hi-Frequency Telecommunications, Inc., Tori Spectrum Telecommunications, Inc. and Cobaltpoint Telecommunicaitons Philippines, Inc.
Rustan’s Supercenters, Inc.
Rustan Supercenters Inc. (66%) is a member of the Dairy Farm International Group which also owns or operates Mannings, Giant, Jason’s Guardian, Ikea (Hongkong and Taiwan), Cold Storage, and many more retail superstores to the world. Rustan Supercenters, Inc., acquired from Tantoco Family, is the operator of Rustan’s Supermarkets, the Shopwise chain of hypermarkets and Wellcome. Dairy Farm is is a retail arm of Jardine Matheson Group.

Rustan Commercial Corporation is a Philippine chain of upmarket department stores. SSI, a listed company, is a specialty store arm of the group.
