Overview
It was a mining company but it was transformed to an IT
and holding company. It sold out stakes in Eastern Telecommunications Phils.
Inc. (ETPI) to then SMC’s unit Vega Telecom Inc. in 2011. Vega is now jointly
owned by GLO and TEL since SMC gave up the telco business.

It recorded around 64 million pesos of revenue with the
12 million pesos of net loss.
