1. AC Energy is expecting its solar power venture in Vietnam to reach US$300Mil as the company ramps up its power generation projects. For 2018 alone, the company is looking to break ground for around 30MW in capacity.

Notes: Good! Conglomerates should go abroad and earn money outside....not only try to extract money from those salary man.

2.  SMC earmarks Php700Bil capex in 5-7 years.

Notes: SMC will rise again? Very big debt...hmmm...

3.  President Duterte has ordered a moratorium on new casinos.

Notes: Good news for existing casinos. PAGCOR said they will assess those already filed applications before the president's order.

4. January inflation reaches 4.0%; above consensus forecast.

Notes: How much is the real inflation? Seeing around...everything goes up now...inflation pressure....raise interest rate....wipe out M3....burden to loan...affect consumer/property/bank/etc....other positive factors can overcome those this typical economic cycle?
I believe BSP can handle this...hope so.

5. NGCP said the government is free to use its fiber optic network facilities at no cost. Using NGCP’s existing network would allow the government to deliver high speed internet to unserved and underserved areas, NGCP had earlier said.
Notes: Really? for free? but the third telco is not government...How bout already "served" area?
